2009 - 2022 Yamaha YFZ 450R and YFZ 450X Skid Plates

Finally back in stock in late September early October 2024!  Plates are in production right now!

We now offer a billet aluminum mid clamp for this skid plate as an upgrade.  It is 10mm shorter than the OEM PRP HDPE clamp and is fully compatible with BNR and Houser steering flags.

These skid plates are made from 3/8" HDPE with billet aluminum "U" clamps and aluminum "L" brackets, precise cut oil drains are centered so you won't need to mix and match socket extensions to change your oil. In addition, the front width adjustable brackets let you run different width bumpers with ease. You will be able to buy all parts on the skid separately in case you lose a bracket or bolt or damage something in a crash!  This is for the belly plate only and the a-arm plates are sold separately.

*One version of this plate was designed specifically for the Xcel Racing Components lower replacement frame only it will not fit the OEM frame!  At this time it's the only skid specifically manufactured for this frame!
